The Start

Where does one actually start? Is who I am, and where I come from, relevant to the story of Finally Fishing? Does the story begin when the idea is formed, or when the plan is set in motion? Would the idea of Finally Fishing teach and inspire without a host? Is there any relevance to the idea of Finally Fishing in today’s world? What about the world of tomorrow? These are but a few of the questions that gave rise to this blog. My ideas and videos are geared towards better understanding and gathering information, to improve my skills as an angler. And hopefully, inspire or excite others to enjoy the sport of fishing. On reviewing my progress thus far, I realized that a lot gets lost in translation.

 

I am rather new to the whole idea of vlogging and blogging. I am learning as I go along. I am happy with the progress I made thus far, but we need to learn and grow. A lot of my ideas and ideologies do not always show in my videos. They are the driving forces behind my actions, but it seems like a force moving the pieces on a chessboard in the darkness. Unseen, not understood but always present. My understanding of how things work in this world of mine is the key to understanding the behind the screen forces in my work. How do I then open the window to let some light in? How do I, in essence, open the door to reveal a part of me to aid in understanding? And that dear reader, is the reason for my blog. To explain in simple words the meanings that the pictures could not explain.

 

So, what then are we going to see in these blog posts? I will be bringing you my thoughts on Fishing as a whole. Explaining my stance on topics, sharing some catches, exploring fishing spots, and much more. So the door is open, join me with some coffee and have a listen to my 2 cents.
